Whats your band name and who are you all?
we are Social Scientist from Fullerton, CA. We're a unique group of individuals

How would you describe your music?
the music that cheers you up on a cloudy day

How was your band formed?
a friend of a friend told a friend, and here we are.

What bands have influenced you the most?
Broken Social Scene, Voxtrot, Death Cab For Cutie, The Beatles,

What inspires your lyrics? What are they all about?
the goodness in all of us. the positive to the negative. they're mainly about what we feel the music is telling us

What makes you different than other bands out there?
We're something to believe in, something you can listen to and feel like you belong

Do you have a CD out?
no, but we have an EP due out in October. it was done by Eric Silva of Pixel Owl Recordings

Any shows coming up?
none at the moment, but we will have some good ones soon

Who would you love to open up for?
Voxtrot, Death Cab For Cutie, Shout Out Louds

If you could give advice to a starting musician, what would you say?
keep on trying, and create the music you want to make

If you could play anywhere, where ?
Glastonbury Festival in England

Got any crazy or wild stories you'd like to share?
there's this homeless person who is always at our shows at the Plush Cafe in Fullerton, No one knows him, but he's always there.

What do you think of UFO's?
do you mean underwear falling off? It hink it happens to everyone once.

What do you think about the war going on in the world today?
we choose not to make statement on that matter

What do you think of Big Smile Magazine?
we think it's a great piece of literature. we wish we could read it all day everyday!
