Do you have any upcoming shows?
Yeah we are playing two major festivals in Ireland the After-Life festival which features a selection of World Acts including Transglobal Underground, Zion
Train and John Phantasm. We have also just been booked to play at the Irish
Reggae Festival.

We have a lot of readers from California, could you tell us a
little about the music scene in Ireland for a fan and for a band?Their is a
huge music scene in Ireland, that covers a diverse range of music from
Rock to Irish Hip Hop.I think its the same in that way with most
country's theirs a bit of every thing going on. However compared
to many countries, Ireland's traditional music scene, is still very
much alive and i think it comes out in many Irish bands whom mix
different genres including ourselves.

Have you ever played in California?
We haven yet had the pleasure of playing in California we would love to
tho we have good Friends their.
Well let us know when you do because i would love to see you guys live sometime.

What inspires most of your lyrics?
We would write lyrics often while improvising a song, this would be are style of writing. With time we would change and rearrange our lyrics. What could start up as twenty pages of lyrics ends up as a song length. In this way it is the
people you play with in the room including our selves, which shape the
direction the song goes.

Do you have any advice to starting bands?
When playing live you MUST convey the style of music in a colourful way, for instance you cant be standing still playing rock and believe me too many starting
bands do this. You'd be surprised how contagious your own movements can be.

What is the best thing about music?
The best the thing about music for Fusion Family is being able to give to others what music gives and gave to us.

What other instruments can each of you play other than the ones you play in the band?
Everyone in the band can sing, play guitar, play bass, and drums. We think it is very important for any musician to have a basic understanding of drums as rhythm is the foundations of music.

Any funny/interesting stories?
Our bass players sister who is good friends with Bonos daughter played the single at full volume she said when said on the way to the toilet she saw Bono ''boogeying'' down to "GREEN LIGHTS" one of our tracks.

What do you think of vegetarians?
As hunter gatherers we can't see it as an option.

What were some of your favorite bands growing up?
We are still growing up! so many bands, always a difficult question. The most
consistent ones would be; U2, Pink Floyd, Kila, James Brown, Aidan Walsh(master of the universe and personal friend), The Police and too many more to
name.

Anything you would like to say to your fans reading this interview?
Thanks for the continual support and praise.....you know who you are.

How did you come up with the title of your latest single "THE
WEED OPERATION"?In Ireland we are deeply involved with the PRO
CANNABIS movement. At the time the track was written we were preparing for a big Afterparty for the FIRST IRISH PRO CANNABIS MARCH which had a turn out in the thousands.

So you guys are pro cannabis?
You better believe it!

Are they lyrics from a song of yours?
Yes we have a song called ''Smokers and Jokers'' the next single we plan to record they are in it.

Where did you get it produced?
An Amazing producer called Brian Masterson who has worked with such bands as The Red Hot Chilli Peppers, U2, Kila and the Chieftans to name a few.Hes a really nice guy and he gets are sound.

What do you guys think about it?
We are very happy with the production Brian Masterson did with THE WEED OPERATION and how well it was received by fans and public.

Where can we get it?
You can download it for free on our myspace and on our bebo.

What did your fans say about it so far?
We have had an amazing reaction from are fans and we have been booked for a load of great gigs/festivals on the back of it.

Any advice for anyone thinking about making a CD?
Rehearse a lot before going into the studio and remember a good engineer in a terrible studio is better than a bad engineer in a great studio.

We know it takes a lot of promoting to get somewhere in the
music ind. Do you guys have any secrets to promoting that you would like to
share with the rest of us?
Build up a good relationship with people who ACTUALLY believe in your music. It is still a music business and those shady cats are their to make money like any business.
