Do you guys have a CD our right now, could you tell us a little about it?
we just recorded our demo with 3 of our best songs and we'll be going back to the studio for our LP the first of the year.
Could you tell me a little about your guys sound and some of your major infulances?
Our sound is very heavy, powerful, and chaotic, but with a catchy melody and groove to the music. Most of our influences come from bands we've listen to for years like Pantera, Slayer, Anthrax, Metallica, Jimmy Hendrix, Lynard Skynard, Nine Inch Nails, Marilyn Manson, Death, and Morbid Angel, ect.

What were some of the band you grew up listening to?
Some of our influences growing up include Guns and Roses, MC Hammer, Green Day, Nirvana, COC, Ozzy, Led Zepplin, Van Halen, Wu Tang Clan, Beastie Boys, Tu Pac, Dr. Dre, Snoop Dog, Metallica, Silver Chair, and AC DC. Of course with our love of music, the list could keep going on and on.

How long has your band been together?
The project is a young only having been together for a year now, but the guitar player and I have been playing together in different projects for about 8 years now.

You guys played at OC Music Fest, how did that go for you guys?
Death Con-5 was one of the headling acts and we had a great show. We played in front of lot of people and we gained a lot of new fans. It was a good momentum booster to go full force with more shows and a tour out to Vegas.

I know you guys work closly with SideShow Productions, how is it working with them?Sideshow Productions is a great benefit to the band. It allows us to play good shows, stay in the scene, and play with other good metal bands.

What can we be expecting from your band in the nier future?
Death Con-5 wants to get out there and be seen. We have a LA show, another Octane Alley show, our Vegas Show, and defenately more to come.

What do you guys think of Big Smile Magazine?
Big Smile Magazine is an awesome organization for bands and music related business. The music scene needs more people like you guys to get the bands exposed without the cooperate hoopla getting in the way. Big Smile Magazine, Sideshow Productions and Myspace type businesses is where the music industry is heading and that's a good thing.

Anything that you would like to say to your fans reading this interview?
Keep coming to our shows. We are only growing bigger and better. Thanks to all the metal heads out there. Keep the scene strong.
