What is your website? www.myspace.com/asbeautyburnstoashes
What is your MySpace? www.myspace.com/asbeautyburnstoashes
What is your PureVolume? Coming soon!
What genre is your music? Christian Hardcore.
What are some of the shows you have comming up? We are playing March 3rd at the Calvary Church in San Juan Capistrano with Underneath the Gun. And April 27th at The Attic in Orange with Betrayed by Tragedy. We're in the process of booking a bunch of shows so keep checking our myspace for updates!
How did you come up with your band name? Back when Justin was in 8th grade he thought it sounded cool.
What venue would you like to play the most that you haven't played at?
Zach: Somewhere HUGE! like a parking lot or something.
Justin: A Costco center. SOLD OUT! So I can have free samples fed to me while I play.
Zach: You would say that.
What makes you strive to be heard? (Zach) Just because we play heavy music doesn't mean we're mean. We love talking to our fans. And our music is positive. (justin) Also to show kids that being a Christian isn't lame or boring. You can go out and have a good time and still live your life with morals and integrity.
What inspires most of your lyrics? God.
What brought your band together? A bunch of Christians are happen to either be best friends or brothers.
Where have you been playing lately and how has your response been? Our last show was at The Alley. It was our first show in 5 months. The response was amazing! We couldn't believe it.
Do you have any advice to starting bands? (Zach)Don't let the band get less serious. Make a band practice schedule and stick to it! (Justin) Don't worry that everyone will love your music, you just have to go out there play your jams, have fun and enjoy yourselves.

What is the worst thing about music? Pre-Sale. haha.
What do you want to see happen thru music in the future? I'd like to see Hardcore become a more radio friendly type of music. For it not to be looked at as vulgar, horrible music by people.
What are you doing to progress those ideas? Playing as many shows as possible. Introducing our music to as many people as we can.
What other instruments can you play (other than the ones they currently play in the band)? (Zach)I can only play my vocal chords. (Justin) ya i suck at every other insrument, i give mad props to all gutair players out there

What religion are you? Christian
Does your religion effect your music? 100%
Any funny or interesting stories? Justin has the harriest butt in the whole world. It prevents band arguments though because when one starts it ends immediately ends because we threat them by having Justin pull his pants down.
What do you think about UFOs? Justin is huge. His body is a UFO. So yes, I believe In them. Unidentified Fat Object, right?

What do you guys do for work right now, other than playing music? (Zach)I own a clothing and design company. (www.myspace.com/legenddesigns) (Justin) I work at a golf course. My job consists of driving and flipping golf carts haha. Its pretty sweet
What advantage do you have above other people because you play music? Chicks, chicks! No just kidding, it's the most fun thing ever.
What were some of your favorite bands growing up? (Zach) Not much heavy stuff. Mostly The Juliana Theory and Anberlin. The only heavy music I listened to was stuff like As I Lay Dying and Norma Jean, haha. Now I listen to like Underneath The Gun, Impending Doom and Kingston Falls. (Justin) I was really into the whole Pop-Punk thing in like 8th grade, then my friend Kevin Gentry showed me a Poison the Well cd. Ive been hooked ever since
How old were you when starting to play ukulele? (Zach)Never! hahahaha (Justin) Well I started when i was about 2, i started playing at the arrowhead pond when i was 6... Im just kidding, never played one, but i always wondered how to spell ukulele.
Every bands music changes over the years, but do you like playing and the style of the old stuff? We only have two orginal members. Me not being one of them. Plus the new stuff is way better!
Anything you would like to say to your fans reading this interview? (Zach) Thank you so much, I love every one of you guys so much. Nothing would be possible without you.(Justin) You guys are the backbone to the band, without fans and people coming to the shows and moshing and standing in the front row laughing and having fun, doing what were doing would be a waste of time. We all appreciate it a ton. Thanks guys
Do you ever get/find groupies? Occasionally. haha
What's your latest cd? We're currently working on a new CD. It will be called "Of Lies And Treachery". we are really excited about it.
How did you come up with the title? Ask Justin. (Justin) haha, Well when i was in 8th grade, I wanted a band name that meant something and that i liked. (even though i wasn't in a band) I just started thinking a writing stuff down, and it just came together.
How long did you wait from start to finish making the CD and how did it feel? (did it take to long, or go by fast) We are taking our time on it and making sure everything is perfect. Another piece of advice to bands is if your going to make a cd, don't rush anything, take your time.
What do you guys think about it? IT seems to be coming along really good
Where can we get it? Shows!
What do you want people to get out of listening to "Of Lies And Treachery"? We want people to be able enjoy themselves while listening to it. Also make our breakdowns melt peoples speakers. haha
What did your fans say about it? What fans? We don't have fans or friends. Thanks to our drummer. No, I'm kidding. So far the response has been great.
Any advice for anyone thinking about making a CD? Yes, DON'T put any "filler" tracks or your CD. Make sure every song is it's own masterpiece.(Justin) Take your time. haha
What do you think of Big Smile? (Zach)You guys are amazing. And I love you. Thank you so much for your time. (Justin) I think its great what you guys do for the local music scene. This was pretty fun as well
