I'm Victor and i play guitar and do vocals. Brandon plays drums and sings as well.
How do you guys like working with Beartrap PR?
It's cool. chuck's a nice dude. we're one of his laziest clients though, but it seems to work.
What give you the most instiration for your lyrics?
books i read, situations i've been in, things that bother me, hip hop songs, cats.
How many songs are one your latest album "Genosha" and how long did it take for you guys to finish the recording?
It will be 10-11 songs i believe, and we are still recording it. we've been working on and off for over a year now. lots of starts and stops and reworking things.
Could you tell us a little about it?
we don't have a copy out yet. but you can pick up our Split 7" w/ our friends in The Breathing and a Split CD w/ The Sibling Project from our myspace. Brandon does all the recording on our songs so we do them all at his parent's house!
What is the best thing about playing music?
Punk rock jumps. Fist pumps. Being too sweaty to be around. Oi Oi Ois.
Any funny stories about a fan that stand out the most?
I don't think we have fans. we can barely convince our friends to come out.
Do you guy have any tours in the making?
We have plans for tour in the Spring!
Where are you going to be playing?
East coast predominantly.
What do you think about UFOs?
I used to read a lot about that stuff when i was younger. i definitely think they are cooler than USOs.
What religion are you guys and does it effect your music?
Neither one of us are religious and that doesn't effect ur music at all, except that we don't talk about J.C.
What do you think of vegetarians?
We are both vegetarians and we are both great. We smell really nice.
What do you guys do for work right now, other than playing music?
Brandon is working at a co-op for IBM and going to NC State. I am currently working at American Express and i've had some college on and off.
What were some of your favorite bands growing up and what bands have influenced your band the most?
I was really into nu metal and Brandon was really into punk rock. I still love the Deftones and Brandon is still really into NOFX.
Influence-wise we both listen to a lot of hip hop, brandon likes a lot of punk bands and i like quieter lo fi soundscapey stuff...and the deftones i love a lot.
Do any of the members of the band play in any other bands?
Brandon plays in "Punk Band" aka The Shotdowns (http://www.myspace.com/theshotdowns) and i play in The Breathing (http://www.myspace.com/thebreathing).
