Self-Hate Crimes is Clit 45s second album, released on BYO Records in 2005. This album is about as raw and truthful as it gets. The majority of the album is the musical background of the people I used to hang around. Of course, I was just as chaotic as these people, minus a few choices. The title of the album pretty much describes what you're about to get into. Songs of drug abuse, promiscuity, alcoholism, and overall rebellion flood your ears. Clit 45s songs are up-tempo and very in your face. Very much like 'A Global Threat', 'Krum Bums', 'The Virus', and 'The Casualties' in sound, but their lyrics are superior to these bands. (In my eyes) Even though Clit 45 is no longer a band, their noise will be played in my radio for years to come. If you’re used to pop punk/Indie bands you’re out of your league here but if you enjoy punk/hardcore then pick up Self-Hate Crimes and I hope you love it as much as I do.
