I wasn’t doing anything this night and how could I pass up a chance to see the legendary Duane Peters and the US Bombs? The Stitches opened for them and they were everything you want a punk band to be. Fast, loud and angry. Loved it!

I was really excited to see the US Bombs. Duane Peters always pops into my mind when I think of punk. He has made himself an icon in the punk/skateboarding world and after their show I could see there was truth behind it all. Duane is not a young man, but he danced harder, sang louder and caused more destruction and chaos than kids a third his age. It was unbelievable. Duane should be an icon and deserves to be one. If you ever get an opportunity to see the US Bombs play, do it. You’ll see punk played like it should be played.
