How do you guys like working with Code Blue Media?
We very much enjoy it. So far, it’s has been the best thing to ever happen to our band. We appreciate everything Nick at Code Blue has done for us and all the hard work he’s done. The guys are Code Blue are our family, and everyone there is the best.

Do you have any upcoming shows?
Most definitely! Check the myspace for all upcoming shows.

What inspires all of your lyrics for your songs?
There is not really any one theme that connects all of our lyrics. We try to write the music for our songs first, and see what kind of lyrics the overall feel of the song demands. The lyrics (in our opinion) are more a compliment to the music, woven in among the instrumentation to finalize the sonic aura. They are a verbal expression of the feelings that the music evokes within us. However, when we do get around to it, our lyrics are usually adaptations of poems that either Cam or Vincent have written in their free time. These tend to be based upon their life experiences or general observations about the world around them that seem significant.

Do you have any advice to starting bands?
Just keep at it and network like crazy. It’s all about who you know. Your first fans will be your friends and family. But don’t give up hope. Be professional, because a band is a business (NEVER forget that). And be optimistic. Just to reiterate: NETWORKING IS THE KEY!

What is the best thing about making music?
It gives every single one of us freedom and an outlet for our expression. Really, there’s too much greatness about making music to just label a singular aspect as “the best.” It’s all good.

What do you think about UFOs?
Their interior design isn’t as great as you would think. And they get poor fuel mileage.

What do you think of vegetarians?
Vincent’s sister is one, and his mom was a vegetarian for almost a decade.

What do you guys do for work right now, other than playing music?
Nothing. We are students. Although, Vincent is currently seeking employment.

What were some of your favorite bands growing up?
Cam- Yes, Rush, tool, Dream Theater, Foreigner, Led Zeppelin, Nik Kershaw, Linkin Park (o yeah), Creed, Dave Matthews Band, Cream
Vincent- Britney Spears, Backstreet Boys, (Hey, what are you laughing at?), AC/DC, Queen, STYX, Pink Floyd, Rush, Creed, Matchbox 20 (before they changed their name)
James- Rush, Porcupine Tree, Yes, Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, Tool, Dream Theater, A Perfect Circle, Cream, Muse

Do any of the members of the band play in any other bands?
No. We are 100% dedicated to all that encompasses Perestroyka.

Anything you would like to say to your fans reading this interview?
Thank you so much for everything. You guys are the greatest ever! We love every single one of you, and we look forward to seeing your beautiful faces at every show.

You guys have a new CD coming out, what is the title?
“Paradigm”

Could you tell us a little more about it, where it was recorded and what you think about it?
As of now, we have not completed it. Recording is scheduled for December 2007. However, we are really excited about it and currently working hard to get everything ready.

Any plans for a CA tour?
Someday. Keep your eyes peeled.

What do you think of Big Smile Magazine?
We think that it is great. Interviewing undiscovered bands from across America is a huge help and a very charitable deed Any body that promotes bands and music in general is a good friend of ours.
