Featured Artists: Narcoleptic Youth; Genre: Punk;
Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed by Narcoleptic Youth was released in 2004 on Galeforce Records. This is a 4 song EP which also contains 2 covers and 5 live tracks. Narcoleptic Youth has always been very witty, sarcastic and comedic with their lyrics and this album is no different. They took the sound of The Adolescents, Subhumans, Black Flag and UK Subs and made it their own. I don't know of any other band that can make you laugh and think in the same song. Narcoleptic Youth covers "Bullet" by The Misfits and gives The Damned a run for their money with their cover of "Ignite." The live tracks are older songs like "Barbi in Bondage" and "Felon" but you can hear the comedy that only Narcoleptic Youth can bring. If you haven't seen or heard of this band please support them and make an effort. I'm sure you'll get atleast a laugh out of the deal.
