Hanson was hitting the road with the new album "Anthem" and one little dot on the map was Pittsburgh at the Carnegie Music Hall. For my wife and I, it was our first time visiting this venue (up until this show we have only seen them in California) and it was a pleasant surprise how different it was than any other music venue we've been to. The structure of the building was old but very well kept with a hint of new technology and it was also a library, very cool vibe. The music hall was a beautifully structured building and on top of beauty the acoustics were perfect, making every seat in the house a good seat. Hanson performed most of the songs off the new album "Anthem" flawlessly as well as playing some of the older songs like MMMBop and a few songs on the "Shout It Out" Album (One of my favorite albums). One of the songs they decided to perform with just voices, no mic's, no instruments, no sound board. Just a quiet room build to carry sound all the way to the back and it was perfect.
